Primark Haul

Let me just start by saying that in my defence the following were purchased over the course of the last few weeks and not all in one go…not that that makes it any better, I still bought them all (monkey paws over eyes emoji). But anyway, here's what's tickled my pickle in Primark lately...

Lace effect top - £8

Dress - £13 (reduced to five pounds now, typical ey!)

 Necklaces - £2 each

 Skater dress - £5

Night dresses - £5 each (yes I bought too many but look how pretty!)

Pack of two hair bows - £1.50

 Shift dress - £13

Striped top - £4

I've been buying too many plenty of dresses lately since the warm weather is slowly shuffling our way. I can't wait to wear the white shift dress, it reminds me of something you'd find in Zara and it feels lovely quality, it is a little see-through though so I bought a slip dress to go underneath - there'll be no underwear flashing here (hopefully). I saw lots of cute nightwear bits on my last little venture and buying three nighties was actually me showing restraint, they're all so pretty I'm even tempted to wear them during the day, don't worry I won't…tempted…but no.

Happiness is...

Finding the kitties asleep together in the weirdest positions

These H&M shoes - They are exactly what I've been looking for for ages and I love um

An early Easter egg hunt with my two nieces - 'scuse the dribble but look how happy she is!

I started a great new job recently and I don't even mind getting up early for it, which is definitely saying something

Spring is hereeee - nothing says spring like daffodils and our kitchen is full of them, yay!

I've been stuck inside with a horrible cold this past weekend but these new slippers definitely put a smile on my face.

Hope there's been lots making you happy recently :)

Feeling Shifty

Dress - ℅ Rare London    Bag - H&M    Shoes - Primark

Oh hi corporate Kirsty, look at you pretending to be all fancy and off to a meeting! I was sent this babe of a dress recently from Rare London and I really am in love with it. Maybe I've become too used to Primark dresses because when I slipped this on it was as if my skin breathed a sigh of relief at the softness of the fabric. I wore it to work yesterday and despite massively over-estimated how warm the weather would be (and spending the day in a tights-less regret) I was nice and comfy at least.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to do some spreadsheeting and to pencil important things into my diary ;)
